How is it possible that I can receive and send E-mail to
"myname@pmldnet.com" as well as to
"myname@princeton-ma.us"?

In fact, "pmldnet.com" and "princeton-ma.us" are equivalent. They are 'aliases', like an 'also known as' name.

This means that when you browse to either website - www.pmldnet.com or www.princeton-ma.us - you'll see exactly the same content. There is only one website and it has two names (URL addresses).

The same is true about E-mail addresses.

As is common practice, our E-mail system is part of our website package. We could have launched the E-mail feature using the "myname@pmldnet.com" form, but we were able to buy the URL address www.princeton-ma.us. We felt that this was a more appropriate domain for a Princeton-based E-mail service. So it made sense to have both names point to a single website (aliases).
